crome (sp.) is a respected tuning software for the honda owner on a budget, need I say more?

As for what to do with it, if you don't know if you need to raise the rev limiter, you don't need to. You have an "almost stock D15B VTEC." IMO, you don't even need a tune yet. Wait until you start in on internals, or if you go turbo. Otherwise, a tune is a waste of money for our SOHC economy engines.

EDIT: Non-VTEC

Agreed,
CROME is excellent, but not needed on a stock D15.
Stock head=stock rev limiter, there's no point in raising it.

Many people make plenty of power on CROME.

http://www.hybridynamics.com
contact them, that is my local shop i think to chip the ECU and burn a base map on it, it is somewhere in the neighborhood of $80...however you would have to ship it to them.

as for tuning that is something you would have to get with a reputable local shop and find out, for an estimate i can tell you that dyno tuning is typically $400 for a tune with chrome on a DynoJet at hybrid.

i use crome also to tune my boost eg.and when i want to tune it ostrich is the toy to play

with.its compatible with crome and others.do real time programming while driving.nice

toy......dont forget to enable usb datalogging to the ecu for future use.ecu control5 and

freelogg ae nice program to datalogg....its free

i forgot to mention mine was a p06 converted to p28.spent about 400 with chipped

ecu,usb cable, software, and ostrcih device.all this is i think equivalent to the hondata

s300 maybe better and cheaper.crome is excellent software for tunning.

YOU DON'T NEED IT.

That advice has been given already. You would gain next to nothing out of it. You have an almost stock non-vtec sohc. Why do you need it to be stated again?

There are a couple shops in your area that could do it just google. Or check out this thread.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1347699

The thread only shows 2 shops but I know for sure there are a few more than that.

pgmfi.org ..... best place with the most info. research everything about tuning before you even THINK about doing it yourself. im been reading about it for a few weeks and still dont know ANYTHING about it, theres just so much to learn about it all.
