Default chipping stock 92 civic dx ecu???

can I chip a stock 92 dx civic ecu? I dont' know the ecu code if somebody could also clarify this.....?

also it's an auto..... can I change that? I have a 5 speed?

A 92 dx ecu can be chipped, but I think you'll need a different ecu if the one you have came from an automatic.

but I would be usign a 5 speed program.... so wouldn't it acts liek a5 speed?

if it a P05, then it needs to be converted (hardware) to 4-wire O2.
P06 It will not need to be converted to 4-wire 02.

Either one can be converted (hardware) to manual.
They would not be capable of running a vtec motor without further (hardware) modification.
