http://www.pgmfi.org is your friend.

you will get alot of answers here, but most will be from people that have never used a rom editor, so dont waste your time listening to most people here.

Call Kenji's or Phearable.net

I like both, but John at phearble has the absolute best customer service. The best thing to tell a professional what modifications you have, and what kind of basemap you're looking for.

I vote for the only thing there.

This has been covered 20,000 times.

As for the answer....

What's your application? Are you doing it for better gas mileage and 3 extra hp or are you running a turbo build? What's your setup? What are you running? What kinda car is it, give us something man....

I disagree, I say the best is NOT pre-made tune, it's more along the lines of a tune based on what your car likes best. Different cars react differently, 2 different cars may pull 1 extra hp in different places from the same crappy e-bay intake, y'know?

Active tune's better than pre-made.

Note the word "basemap."

That's just what it is, a base. Of course you need to go get it tuned, but Phearable.net and Kenji's have great service, knowledgeable staff, and provide a good, solid basemap. The tune is up to whoever does the best job near you.

Sorry, you confused me as to what you were referring to:

Though now that I know what you mean, yeah, get a basemap from somebody...but it doesn't matter what the hell is on it and get it tuned on a dyno or street tuned - but like I said, depends what you're running, it's not like ebay, ur not gonna chip ur P28 and have ur stock LX be runnin 13's...

EDIT:
NVM, strike everything I said, you haven't really told us jack **** about your car, include more info if you want a realistic answer. Is it worth it? Depends. More info = thx.

'Cause I'm getting this sickening vibe that you saw a +20 - 30 hp chip for 19.99 on ebay and think this is just what your rice machine needs to be complete.
