Default chipped p28 ecu question.

i have a 98 honda civic ex. i'm currently running an ACT Clutch and Fidanza 7lb Flywheel. no headers and no exhaust. i just obtained an ecu which is a jun chipped p28. what is the safe cut off point for the rpm. the V-TEC kicks in at 6 and i ran it past 7.5. my old ecu V-TEC kicks in at 5.5 and redlines at 7. noob here.
