Chipped p06
So, i bought a chipped p06 off of j-k tuning (its a "p28" i had him chip a p06 for vtec)
Anyways i got it back, and now, no vtec codes at all. When i unplug the solenoid, nothing.
My question is, if he put say a f22a map on it. Would it still throw a vtec code, because isn't the computer still seeing that sensor. Or does the map tell it that it does not need it if its a non-vtec map.
I'm just trying to figure out whats wrong with my ecu before i make a 2 hour drive to my tuner tomorrow.

Re: Chipped p06
If he disable the functions like the pressure switch, VSS check, coolant temp check, ETC. then it may not throw a code. However, I'd crack open the case and look to see it has been chipped.
