My mugen program feels much better then a stock p30 ecu....Although the damn thing still needs to be tuned. Way too rich. Even with my fuel pressure turned down, it pours black smoke once in VTEC.

Save the money and go for Hodata.

Everything that I have heard says that a chip is a waste on a stock car. Most chips dump in more fuel where most stock cars would be better running leaner. Maybe if you had cams and a higher c/r you would do well to get a chipped ecu, but then why not just go VAFC? Then you could switch programs on the fly and know that you are optimized since you dyno tuned it right?

there are other options/chips then rich running mugen.
chipping ECU with a stock motor running on the streets is nothing but waste of fuel and money.
Hondata is a good system but simply too much cash for most peeps, as good tuner and alot of time on a dyno is required on top of the price tag. With some common sense and research you can have a chip/program which can make simliar power with only about 25% of the price tag.
