Icon6 Chipped ECU on a 99 SI (B16A)

I have a chipped ECU on my SI and I can't figure out what's going on and why my car wont crank? I bought a OBD2b to OBD1 jumper harness and it still wont work? I'm stumped on this and it's new to me lol (Ecu/jumper harnesses).

More info.
Are you saying it cranked with the stock ECU? Why are you running a chipped ECU?

When i bought the car... the guy said that the motor (B16A2) was locked up. So I bought a B16A from my boy and the chipped ecu is tuned for that motor. So i got it and it will not crank with the chipped one. I have the jumper harness to make it work.... seems to not be. Also, before I put the chipped ecu in I had a knock sensor issue. I did the chipped ecu to delete the knock sensor all together.

Don't really think it's the ECU but we need to know what's done to teh motor that it requires a chipped ECU.

Is it a no crank or a crank but no start?

The chipped ecu is Obd1. A 99 civic SI would be OBD2b correct? anyways does anyone know about this kinda thing.

Also, the B16A motor is 11/1 compression, would that make the knock sensor trip the check engine light?

try to get ahold of a p28(obd2) and try starting with out the jumper or the chipped obd1 ecu. knock sensor wouldn't stop it from starting/cranking and yes it can be disabled when the ecu is chipped(if that was put on the chip).

I figured out the whole knock sensor thing, my brother helped me on the B16A swap and he routed the harness wrong and confused the K/S with the CPS. So that was awesome! The ecu thing is about to be refunded as well... I don't think it's necessary.
