are the chikari (however you spell it) headers good or are they not worth buying?
i can get some for $50 used. they are black.

I had some on my 94 civic with d16z6 and they were fine. Not as good as dc but they do the job

i'm thinking about putting some on my 93 dx hatch. i don't want to spend a lot of money on this motor, plan on a swap next year, but i would like it to have a little pep to it for the weekends when i take it out. i will probably get the headers for $50.

50 bux is ok...but every Chikara header ive seen seem to rust to hell...i mean the whole entire header...dont know what its made of...but they are pretty cheap....

dont buy it if its just the top part...save your money.

what do you mean by just the top part, just the header? i have a down pipe already in my hatch with 2.25" piping all the way back to the muffler, i just still have stock headers on my car. i was also thinking of sanding down the header and painting it a different color with some high heat paint.

okay, i just talked to the guy who's going to sell the header and he said its comes with the down pipe also. he said its a 4-2-1 design. so is it worth $50 to see if it makes a difference.

Id get it for 50 and then if you dont see much difference (which you wont with a header unless you have other mods) you can probobaly sell it to someone else for 50 or more!
