Default check light on?

i just install a new intake in my 2000 si and my light came on. so how do i get it to shut off. thanks for any help.

reset your ecu...pull the ecu fuse or take the neg battery cable off for 5 mins...goodluck

make sure you didn't unplug your air intake temp sensor or your map sensor, if you did, plug them back in.

i think is did pull the sensor but there wasn't a plug on the intake so its just hang there what do i do.

you prolly bought the wrong intake...or if u got the right one u need to pull the connector and probe from your other in take its a lil black thing that plugs into the intake...then u connect the iat to that and u shoudl be set ....hope this helps

over a period of time it could or it can go faster. basically cel is on something wrong is happening. just reset it and make sure the plugs r in right u should be fine

post up some pics if u having trouble

FYI: to reset the ECU by removing the neg- from the battery will also clear all pre-sets and times on everything in your car. An easier way is to just unplug the ECU.

Remove the passenger side kick plate, then just unplug the 3 connectors. Your radio will maintain it's correct time and your radio presets will remain intact...

u can also do that...i dont care bout resetting the times and crap i always have cds in so no stations and my cd player auto sets the eq wit a button
