Default check if i have evrything for minime?

Can you guys check if i got everything i need to do a y7/y8 minime swap?
the im is already in a couple months ago, so dont worry about that, only swapping the head now. Parts i have:
head
headgasket
Field SFC VTEC controller
y8 dizzy

Do i need a y8 timing belt as well? the y7 and y8 head head/cam gear looks pretty much the same to me.
I dont need the p2p ecu or knock sensor right? since i have the fields unit.
Is it really nessecary to remove the left engine mount?

thanks guys.

damn this so messed up I got to eplain again. You can prolly use your y7 timing belt so no need to remove the engine mount. you can use your y7 dizzy with y8 head since they are the same. I would recomend getting a y8 IM, and you will have to run p2p ecu since you need that extended redline to get all the power. vtec controler is pretty much useless. Do more research before you do this because you can mess your engine up.

I've got so many mixed things said about the timing belt when i did a search. Without the ECU, i will just have a lower redline, and incorrect fuel map, meaning i'll be too lean, am i correct?
But i can just make it richer with the fields unit (it also controls fuel mixture)

So the only reason why the manuals said to remove the mount is only because they're replacing the belt since it's looped around the mount?

what's the redline on y7? p2p ecu is like $50 used it's worthless to many people. without higher redline you won't be able to get all the power out the mini me.

and the timing belt thing is a yes.

according to this, http://www.geocities.com/motor....html
the difference is only 100rpm, just found that out myself, i thought it was 6800 vs 7200.

but anyway, doing the stuff i meantioned about tuning the fuel with Fields should work just fine right? It would just take a lot more time tuning it, but it is do-able correct?

but if i do decide to get the p2p later, i need the knock sensor? where is this sensor located?

yes i know minime has been covered a million times, i've been searching through forums for months looking for info. So even if you dont want to help me, dont send me a link that doesnt help me at all. (no offense, that's a great article, but i need some pretty specific info for my engine that's ot covered)

I would just a get a p2p, and you can run some resistors for KS, or just place it in the back of the block.

i guess i'll just ditch the manual fuel tuning idea and just find a p2p, thanks a bunch ABK.
