Check Engine Light turns on when...
iight heres the problem everytime I start gunning my 93 del sol si the "Engine Check" light turns, nothing happens thou...the car drives perfectly nothing overheats or anything just that damn light pops out! If i drive the car normally and dont gun it, the light doesnt turn on naturally, but anyway is it something I should worry about?

I had that happen, for me it was my cat. converter, nothin big. Just take it somewhere and get the code read, and re-set it.

Why reset it and avoid fixing what is wrong?
Get the code pulled or read it yourself and see what is causing the CEL to come on...I HATE it when people try and bandaid problems

if there is still an error in the ecu it will appear again , even though he resets the ecu
