Check Engine Light still on after changing exhaust mani to stock???

Check Engine Light still on after changing exhaust mani to stock???
i have a d16y7 and i changed the exhaust manifold to a y8 awhile back.. i knew it was going to throw a cel bcus of the o2 sensor etc.. i changed the exhaust mani back to the y7 and i still have the check engine light on. can i just disconnect the battery to reset it or do i have to do something else to it??
