check engine light question?

Default check engine light question?

I put a new exhaust on my car and the check engine light came on. any ideas on how to fix this?

first off you need to run the codes to see exactly what code you are throwing.

ok well i know that alot of people run into this wen they put an exhaust on there car. i jus want to know if there is a simple way to get rid of this. I got a swap that is goin in wen the winter is over. I have to take a trip from wisconsin to kentucky in the nex couple a days, and people tell me its not good to drive with the light so im jus makin sure my car runs properly. its been like this for a while, and ive noticed a little change in the way my car runs. I also dont know how to check for wat code its throwin.
