Icon3 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CEL CODE 68??

I know it sounds ridiculous but yes! I've been checking over and over again and it keep prompt cel code 68. my car running well no issue but vtec won't engage with the cel on! which I know something is wrong. sometimes it will light up sometimes it won't. but mostly yes. it has been frustrating me for quite sometime. anyone please advice??

p/s. I am running p28, b16a auto on a eg8.

yes it's chipped where my mechanic done that when I do my swap. but I'm intended to know what's wrong first before I consult my mechanic.

Bad program, you can't chip auto ecu's unless they are converted.

68 is usually caused by either a bad ROM (it happens, they can become corrupted) or a broken solder in the chip (can also happen). Take it to the tuner and have him fix it.

sorry for being noob by how come auto couldnt be chipped? i suppose that ecu came with that half cut i bought. anyway back to the issue. should i rechip it back to original or rechip it again to other settings? im going to install afc neo soon, whats the best u guys would advice?

I don't understand if you have a manual transmission or auto transmission.

If you have an auto transmission and an auto ecu it CANNOT be chipped

If you have a manual transmission and an auto ecu it won't work, it has to be converted to a manual ecu.
