Haven't touched my car for awhile, and it was fine before. i started it up today and the CEL flashed onced and stayed on for the rest of the time. ANy clue what it is? I checked the engine bay, oil levels, etc. everything looked ok...97 DX hatch. thanks guys.

was it one long flash or one short flash?

one long flash is 10

defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

one short flash is well 1

Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

if motor is stock: check ur gas cap, reset ecu.

It's one really quick flash after the car is in aux mode...you thinkit's the O2? Engine is totally stock...what do you guys think i should try? thanks

Mine goes off and on. It's giving code 61. So I thought of changing the primary 02 at first, but I consulted my friend who is a mechanic at a honda dealership to check for the wirings first. So I did that and cleard the wires from touching or grounding to the body then reset the ECU. After two months, it came on again with the same code.

So do you think it is my primary 02?

btw. got mods like header, axleback exhaust and shortram air.
