I have a 93 Honda Civic DX Auto.
after my mechanic replated distributor and ignition coils or something, my CEL comes on.
I stuffed a paper clip in the ECU socket under golve box to get the ECU codes but the CEL light stays STEADY lit when I move the KEY to IGN position.
what am i doing wrong?? why am I not getting the blinking codes ?

you might not be touching the metal in the plug from the ecu make sure it touches the right spot you will know juss keep the key in and it should blink ( long blinks equal 10 short blinks equal 1) incase you forget
