Check Engine Light 61
I have a 97 civic and when i was driving one day the check engine light came on. I checked the code and it gave me a code 61 which is the primary oxygen sensor...im not that good with cars. Where does code 61(primary O2 sensor) located? When i disconnected the batteries, the code was gone and it returns comple days later...is there something else wrong. And when the check engine light comes on the car drops in rpm and rise...
Any help would be grateful....

O2 sensor on your exhaust manifold. More then likely you need a new one if it takes the CEL a little while to come one. I would recomend a Bosch.

Yeah, thats sounds about right, bosch O2 sensors suck though, Denso or NTK are the way to go IMO.
