Check engine light?
Heres my little problem. About two weeks back I put a 95 civic ex motor into my 93 civic dx, all went well and I put the p28 ecu in and wired up the vtec. Now about a week later I was riding down a back road when out of no where my CEL pops on, well my car was sputtering a little bit after it came on but then I turned the car off and then started it once again and the check engine light is gone and she runs perfect. Follow up to about yesterday when it did the same thing once again. It's not a huge deal since it only happens once in a while but I was wondering if anyone would have any input.

do you check to see what code you were throwing?
might let you know the source of your problem..
or possibly a short somewhere re-check your wiring

Re: Check engine light? (shepworldwide)
since I did my d16z6 head swap with p28, i have had 3 CEL's for the VTEC solenoid oil pressure...they disappear when i turn the car off and back on again...I'm thinking I might have some bad grounds somewhere
