check engine light

Default check engine light

i took out the throttle thing i forgot what its called but it connects with the wire of the gas pedal so wen u press the gas it opens...well i forgot that little parts name but ne way i took it out and put it back in and the check engine light went on wen i started it back up. does ne one know the reason for this???

reset ur ecu by unplugging the positive (red) connector. leave it like that for about 10-15 mins. then plug in again and ur all set

notsure if your talking about the tps sensor. but if you did. youd have to have a voltomiter to set it correctly when you reinstall it.
it should read .5 at idle/closed throttle. and 4.5 at WOT, you cant just stick it on and tighten it cause most likly it wontbe the right angle and read the wrong voltage
