Default CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!!!!!

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW DO I GET MY COLD AIR INTAKE TO WORK WITHOUT MAKIN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON

Yeah, if you provide more info about your car and which CAI that you have..

But make sure that everything is plugged up first.

x2. make sure your iacv and tps sensors are plugged up. and make sure you have the little hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake hose(i guess its a vacuum...never knew what it was called lol) hooked up still. what year is your car and what motor is in it?

MY CA IS A 95 CIVIC EX 1.6 VTEC SOHC MY ENGINE CHECK COME ONE WHEN I HAVE THE COLD AIR INTAKE AND I WANTA FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT TO COME OFF

then you can tell which sensor needs to be plugged in.

Well theres your first problem, your caps lock seems to be stuck on.


A cold air intake should not cause any CEL to come one. The IAT isnt on the intake tube for 92-95civics, its on the manifold. Something else may just be coincidentally wrong. Do you know HOW to check codes?
