check engine light
I've got a check engine light on my 1993 si.
It came on after I installed the supercharger a second time, I had it on and everything was fine, I just needed to shim the pulley a little bit, took it off, and when I put it back on it has a bad idle and an engine code.
While I was working on it the pcv valve fell into a bucket of coolent. It was pretty coolent logged, I let it dry for 45 mins or so, but after I reinstalled everything and saw the light i took it off, took off the 90* bend and a 50/50 mix of oil and coolent was in there.
I did the shake the pcv valve and see if it makes that clicking noise, it did but it seemed to react slowly, as in it would only click so fast, maybe 2 to 3 times a second, no matter how quick i shook it. This could be because there was oil in there like there was supposed to be though.
My question is, could a faulty pcv valve cause the check engine light to come on and give a bad idle?

Re: (sleepydude)
just checked the code, it was either 1 (oxygen sensor) or 10 (intake air temperature sensor) could the intake air tem sensor be damaged from the supercharger rolling once?
