Default cheap/small d16z6 project

hello everyone.. i have a 92 eg si d16z6 motor witch i i think blew up, but might of just spun a bearing. (havnt token bottem end apart yet)

ok well the reason im on hear is becuase i heard that you can put d16a6 pistons (88-91 crs si) and end up getting 10:1 compression or something. i still want the motor to be reliable and this is y i wanna put these stock crx pistons in.

will this work? has n e one herd of this?

get back to me soon tring to get the motor together by next weekend

thanxs for the help

You can use the P29 Pistons but I don't know what all is involved(IE:If there are any Piston to Valve clearance issues with the P29s,etc)..so SEARCH.

If you end up doing this and haven't ordered the pistons yet and are wanting to go with stock CAST(Not as good as forged but cheaper)pistons I have a brand new set with Rings and Wristpins I will sell you. Let me know.
