I'm looking for a lip and duckbill for my eg hatch and I can't justify spending a ton of money on non functional parts. So I've turned to ebay.

I emailed a bunch of people who bought these items for eg hatch's and none of them had any negative comments and said they fit great. I'd like to hear everyones opinions on this.

Has anyone ever got a lip or duckbill from ebay? If so how was the fitment and quality? Thanks

Yah, I'm actually leaning more towards the typeR after doing some more research. I like it alot more then the mugen now that I've seen both of them on a few hatches.

I'll check out those lips from autodynamic.

i just got the mugen lip... looks good as far as quality, but i am waiting for spring before i install it. there is also a guy selling fiberglass duckbills on ebay for 90 bux shipped with buy it now. i picked up one of them too (im too cheap for carbonfiber)

Don't get ABS lips if your lowered over over 2". I crack my old Mugen style one on a bump. Also exhausts can melt ABS rear lips.

Yah, I have H&R race so the mugen would be too low anyway. The mugen is bigger (i.e. will sit lower when on the car) then the typer.

Will scraping/cracking be a problem with H&R races and the typeR lip?

I can let you know, I am going to be putting my Type R lip on my hatch this weekend, I just lowered it last weekend w/ H&R Race.

Also, just ta let you know, I bought my Type R Lip off from Street Racing Concepts, transaction went very smooth and I'l let you know how everything looks when I get home.

a jdm company made those first called purple seed. i dont know if they are still around but thats a nice lip none the less.
