Default cheap and easy brake upgrade?

hey guys, im looking at upgraded my front brakes, doing the rear disc conversion just seems like more show than go to me, so im leaving my drums, but i was looking at passwordjdm front brake swap, i plan on ditching the rotors and buying powerslot rotors, using hawk pads, and stainless steel lines, but my question is, im basically paying the 150 bucks for oem calipers, but how much bigger exaclty will this new set-up be compared to my 96 dx front discs....thanks i appreciate it

DX = 9.5" rotor, so whatever the powerslot rotor size is, subtract 9.5 from it.

if you get the integra type R calipers and carriers for the 282 disc(98 onwards model) then these will bolt straight on. Of course you'll need the 282mm discs but these can be got from an MGZR180 2.5 or the MGZR160

This is just me..dunno what u ordered or what u did already, but larger diameter pads w/ larger calipers will do the the trick, IF you have the wheel clearance. You can't just go larger pads b/c it won't press equally w/o the right size calipers. Also, I would suggest larger rotors, but if the press contact is already 100% that's useless.

Are you trying to do an OEM brake upgrade, or just any cheap brake upgrade?

the best bang for buck upgrade, i was looking into an oem upgrade, but im not sure of the compatibility of everything, i have 15 inch wheels too, so oem is most likely the only thing i can do
