Chassis designation questions
Ok. I have two questions about two cars.
First: I have a 1993 Civic CX hatch, 5 speed. I know it is an EG, but is it a true EG6, or is it an EG with some other number?
Also: I just bought a 1986 Civic hatch. Carbureted, 4 speed. Not sure what model. What chassis is it?

The 93. eg is the chassis code for the jdm civics not usdm, for some reason people lke to call ther their cars eg6 or eg-whatever, but its really eh#, unless of course you buy a jdm rhd civic.
