Characteristics of a blown ring
Easy enough, what would you expect from a blown ring, should the car still run/drive? Blow lots of smoke, no smoke? Gonna do compression test ASAP but until then just wanna see what comes up.

Blue smoke, yes
If the ring is totally shot, you might have very little to no compression in a cylinder.
It should still run, unless theyre all bad

OK cool, I had an issue where I was driving to worek and then all of the sudden BAM big backfire and smoke. After that no more smoke but ran like crap. It was doing the thing like I hear lots of other people have where under a certain RPM it would be reaaaaaly laggy and then when I got to a higher RPM it would just wanna take off like a bat out of hell.

Yeah def as soon as I can I will, I trave out of state/country for work so I dont get much time to work on it anymore. I've never had to deal with bad rings before so I wasn't quite sure what to chalk it up to. Although I also doubt its my IAT sensor causing it all that will be fixed also. Hopefully I can hit mAd VTAK y0, or even just drive my daily beater again soon enough.
