Changing springs tomorrow......any advise?
Short story: Traded HX in for Toyota 4 door Tacoma.......it had springs.
They want stock springs and I don't on my EX. I am going tomorrow to swap them with one of there mechs.
I am going to read my POS Haynes manual tonight.....but, any thing in particular anyone want to suggest to me?

I would suggest trading the whole spring/shock combo. If the dealer doesn't want to, just tell them how much easier it is to not have to use a spring compressor just swap shocks. That will save you a ton of time and you will end up with newer shocks. You can also tell them the shocks from your EX are from an EX so they must be better because it is a higher trim. It's worth a try.
As far as wrenches, if you have to supply them, bring a 14mm wrench and socket, a 17mm wrench and socket, and a 5mm allen wrench ... and a spring compressor.

There is a Dodge Ram for sale locally that has a huuuuuuuge lift on it. The guy drives around town like he is on stilts. I can see his drive shaft over my head when I pass him.

my friend had a 2001 Sileverado and its in the shop now. He is getting a custom 16 inch lift with coilovers and airbags integrated into it. Its going on 16 in wheels and 44s. The lift is costing him well over 25 grand!!!! Damn rich kids!!

so installing springs and shocks together is easier than just installing springs right?
