Changing the prop. valve and the lines!
I have a 2000 Coupe with ABS. I did the Integra GSR front and rear disc conversion. I have the none ABS 40/40 Integra Proportioning valve and I want to install it....how do I go about taking the ABS unit out from the engine bay and redoing my lines????
Thanks!
Thanks!

i was under the impression that abs models already have the 40/40 valve.
and didn't 2000 civic's (ex i would imagine) w/abs already have rear disc brakes?

no the ex never came with rear discs. ABS was optional i on the ex sedans. I'm not sure if you would need to redo your lines. Is this a 4door?

ABS equipped vehicles don't use an external prop valve It's just a coupler were the prop valve would be on a non-ABS vehicle. The ABS unit handles all proportioning functions.

i hope you realize that you're in for some work.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah, it is not an easy job. just swapping out the 4040 valve on my eg i broke 2 lines. one running from the valve to the driver fron, the other to the passenger rear. i paid out the *** for new lines from the dealer.
i tried to bend and flare mine, but wasn't that good at it.
OP, if you are better than i am at bending and flaring, then i hope this helps.
