not hard @ all, did it a few times....all you need is a 10 or 12 mm socket, a jack, and jack stands....btw, drain the oil first....you also may need an extension

well, you have to take the header off, or at least the lower half of it, drain the oil of course, take out the screws, scrape all old gasket gunk off, slightly oil the new gasket, and reinstall.
oil pan - need a wide flat head screw driver or gasket scraper, hell a putty knife will work, think its a 10 mm socket (if not 10 then its 12mm)
header - make sure engine is stone cold, there are 2 bolts underneath that hold the stock header on, 1 on lower front, and like 9 on the head. cant remember what size they all are but pretty sure all are 10 or 12 mm have to unplug o2 sensor unless you still have a heatshield on then you have to take it out of the header to get heat shield off.

jack up your ride ! take off the header, and undo the bolts all around the pan ! quite easy and doesnt take long at all !

honda should carry it. i dont know about other automotive stores. it should cost around 17$$ for the gasket. thats how much i payed for my girlfriends car.

Also when you take the old oil pan gasket off, make sure there aren't any left over small 'washers' (from the oil pan gasket) stuck to the studs on the bottom of the block; otherwise you'll have a leak with the new pan gasket (won't seal 100%)
Also I always use Hondabond on the two curved edges of the oil pan, on both sides of the gasket, to make sure it's nicely sealed.

I don't think you need to remove the header. Just remove the the downpipe from the header. There are 3 bolts that must be removed. Soak in penetrating oil first for a while. BTW, WD-40 is not a penetrant but a lubricant if u catch my drift.

My local Honda dealership quoted me at about $32 for a new oil pan gasket. I said screw that and ordered one from HondaAutomotivePart.com for about $24 shipped.
Easy job; just be sure to scrape ALL the old gasket off both surfaces and clean them both well, or it'll leak.
