Default Changing cluster lights to red (Pics...56k no cares)

Allright, well as most of you know you can change the lighting to red in your cluster. Some one did a right up of how do this very well, but it was for a 92-95 civic. Well i'm not going to tell you how to do it, but i will give you some hints.

you don't need 5 #24's and 1 # 74

you need 4 #24's and 1 of some size i don't know because i reused
the old one.
i used a bright red instead of the orange they used.
paint all the lights that have a brown backing. THe others have black
and silver. One brown one has a wire going into it.

Here's how it came out and i love it.

Nevermind, geocities sucks *** so when it works again, go to this link.
http://cegleitz.tripod.com/index.htm

It's a little blurry but that's the best i could do. And i dont have an automatic either, i just got the cluster for the tach.

For more information, go to the write-up

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=661308

I haven't done the dash yet, but when i do i will post it. Hope you all enjoy.

I painted my bulbs red and the color it came out is IDENTICAL to the color that the SI cluster is.

My fault, I was reffering to the EM1 cluster (99-00).
EDIT: The paint I used was some 3 dollar a bottle stained glass paint from Micheals.

for the cluster i used 4 #24s for the ones with the brown back and then there's a bulb with a brown back that has a wire coming out of it, that one, i didn't feel like going out and buying a bulb, so i peeled off the blue rubber stuff and then spraypainted it. And the color red is...Testers Gloss Bright Red 1231 got it from Micheals as well, by the model car ****.

wow, it finally worked after i made a new site. but they are big. When i used the old bulb it turned out just fine. I sure can't tell a difference between them. The one i re-used covered half the tachometer and 1/3 of the speedometer.

its three 74's not one for the 92-95's. one in the climate control one in the cluster, I know you did this for a 6th gen but I just wanted to correct the misinformation. The red looks really nice

Good job Too bad EK's dont have the rings around the outer side of the gauges to tint the needles red at night like the EG's do

Yeah, the white needles still sucks. I wonder if I could get some lime green paint and make me a knoockoff Spoom cluster.

Yeah, the white isn't too bad in there, it's easier to tell how fast your going cause it's red on white instead of white on white. Course it never was that hard. And the paint i got from micheal's in the model car section. For the CIVIC dude.
