are you doing this to a 92-95 civic or a 96-00 civic,..i think the procedure is pretty much the same,...anyways,..you must take the door panels off,...roll the window down till you can see the mount points on the rail,..you will need another set of hands,..anyways,..unbolt the side track,...the side track bolt is the bolt next to where the speaker goes,...have someone lower the new window down from the top when the window is in place,..bolt it back up to the rail,..then make sure the side track is on the window and then bolt that back on,..you should be fine from there,..i dont know if this is the answer to your question,..if so then i hope i helped,..if not then i just type this shiet for nothing
okay im just plain retarded,..you wanted to konw tips on getting glass out,..ill leave what i posted above for people who need to know,...anyways to get broken glass out it would be easier if the door is off the car,..the way i did it was i took a shop vac and went into the holes on the door and vacuumed it up

no i believe he wants to know how to get the plastic pieces off the window to put new pieces on because they're broken
