changing the alt in s 99 civic si
i need help i try to change my alternator on my si i have a b16 but i cant get it off **** was getting me mad it wouldnt come out

when u get it un bolted u need to un bolt the brake cylnder and pull it over by the intake and it should come out like that

NO YOU DON'T!!! I've tried on my EG2 del sol, and you dont need to undo anything but the wires around that area.
What i mean is that you need to undo some brackets, get the throttle cable and CC cable out of the way, along with the AC lines, just tug those out of the way. Undo the upper bracket and take it out. It will come right out if you pull it upwards!
It will be a tight fit, but it'll come out without having to unbolt an important parts!

hey man thanx that work un bolting it from the fire wall just they gave me the wrong one when i put it in i couldnt tighten the belt the top screws didnt match have to take it back
