Changing "carbon filters" every 15k on a 2003 EX civic?
Ok so my girl has a 2003 EX and she got the oil changed at EZ lube, and the service guy told her and showed her two dirty filters and called them "carbon filters" and said they needed to be changed at 15k. She didnt do it and she asked me what those are and if i could change it for her, but i have no clue what shes talking about. The service guy said they are "under the car" according to her, i wasnt there at EZ lube, this is what she is telling me. Anyone have any idea?

They are cabin air filters. You have to open the glove box, pull it down all the way so you can see the heater box behind the glove box. Then there will be a little cover in the center that goes vertical with a clip on the bottom. put that off then there will be two filters one on top of the other they just pull out. HTH
