Changed thermostat and Now I smell Coolent..

Default Changed thermostat and Now I smell Coolent..

Anyway, I have checked all hoses rechecked the thermostat. No white smoke nore is any radiator fulid in my oil.. The top of my radiator Smokes, Here is a pic of where its coming from. Do I have a bad radiator? Also I noticed on the block there is alittle but of anti freeze.. This is real weird anyone help? Here is a few pics

That would be leaking from the head gasket--unless its running from somewhere else and shows up there

man, the only thing i can say is wipe down wherever theres coolant, let it idle, and then really look where its comming from. did you see coolant comming out of the block (where you circled on the pic)? coz im thinking that it might be just your radiator that squirted to the block. keep us updated.

You may have been running with a dead thermostat and that could have ruin you radiator

I changed the thermastat because I would have to let the car warm up for 15 min Then Have to put a pizza box infront of it to keep it from cooling down. Plus whenever I turned on the heat it will cool down. I never saw it leaking from the head gasket I let it idle for about 15 min one day and all I saw was the smoke from the raditor.

Sounds like your radiator is bad.
