if you care about cost more than quality, then this is pointless.
if you care more about looks than performance, again- pointless.
if you care about quality and performance, eibach has the best quality and consistency, bar none. their pro-kit with used with a worth set of even stock dampers is a wonderful upgrade.
eibach sportline with koni yellows and alignment kits on both axles is better, but rather low.
ground control coilover sleeves, ordered to spec from GC with koni yellows and alignment kit all around is the best street setup as long as you don't act like a dope and lower it too much in any capacity.

if i were you, i'd wait it out. if you are not that serious about it, those chinese/taiwanese springs that the tein/skunk2/etc offer will all be about the same quality and offer about the same performance. their stuff is gauged more toward a certain look vs. ideal handling. i'd make sure the dampers you are using are not aged or beat in any manner, because that will make a big difference- lowering springs, especially higher rate ones that are shorter (lower) can be the knockout punch for worn dampers.

Re: (dah99si)
I imagine not to far down the road 4-6 months id prolly be upgrading to a coilover setup..
just cant stand stock height and terrable handling, hate "flying" down the road above 80.

i would say [freak] coil overs, just because you have to change the setting to get them perfect. your weight to corner would be all over the place. I would suggest Tokico illuminas 5 way adjustable's with H&R or eibach springs. They worked wonders for me on the track, course, and week end commute. just my two cents.

Re: (jax97hx)
i've personally just loved tein s-techs. i've installed more then five sets for my friends and there hasn't been anything wrong with them. i've also have heard nothing but good about eibachs either you can probably find either for $150 new if you find a deal.
