Default CFH Suggestions

I have a low quality CFH and want a grade A CFH. I have seen the the DG, Fiber Images, and Wings West models but want to know which is the best quality and is also lightweight? Please suggest a CFH and if you have pictures that would be great!

From what I've read Fiber Images is a good hood, also might want to check out the JDMshit c/f hood.

You might want to search also.

I have a VIS.. very happy with it.. as for the construction, I got hit head on by a drunk driver, totalled my car, one fender was trashed, both headlights busted, the radiator core support was pushed into my turbo, the latch was ripped off the hood, and the hood was knocked back. Just to show the quality of the hood, this is a picture of the car after the accident. With the same hood that was on the car. Granted there are stress marks (can't really see them in the picture because of the angle) and I had to use hood pins because the latch was ripped out of the hood. The bumper that is on the car is a really bad one, but it bolts up until spring when I get a new bumper/hood/. That is why there are gaps in the bumper area. I was VERY impressed with how the hood held up in the accident.

Hood is a little off because of accident, but that can easliy be fixed by messing with the brackets it bolts too..

one more..

well, if u want lightweight Fiber Images is the way to go, and i've heard they're very nice hoods, and they have the unbreakable thing going on, haven't seen many VIS hoods, but like everyone else says, i've heard they're good quality, but a bit pricey

Vis hood and b series swap, you have to cut some under brace cause it will hit the radiator support and rub the right side valve cover where the timing belt at. other brand i dont know.

I have fiber images. Fitment and weave is great but most importantly it is very light so it serves its function.

Oh, if you get a VIS hood.. Don't get the one with Carbon supports on the underside. It is just nicer looking when you pop the hood, but heavier then the regular one.

jdmshit gets my vote for great price and product! very nice.
if you can afford to spend more get vis or fiberimages, but with newman and jdmshite CF hoods/lips you won't be disapointed at all
