Re: cf hood recommendtaion? (B_Cruz)
B-Cruz,
I have a question about your fiber images c/f hood.
1. when you mean "fitment", did it actually fit like o.e. hood. meaning if there was no gap on either end and the front of the hood.
<<the reason i asked was that the last couple of f/i hoods i've not been please with.
at first, looking at people pics over the net, made me wanna get untill recent car shows i've attending. not one f/i hood fit exactly as claim.
for starter, the front hood didn't line up with the upper-layer bumper.
now, if these car(s) that i've seen in person may had some minor front-end damage(s)---that may be a diferent story. since the sheet metal of a honda isn't the best around. a slight/minor bumper damage may cause the front-core support to be on even. (i know this for a fact cause i work at a local honda dealership in parts/body shops)
now weave and weight isn't an issue. just fitment only.
if anyone else has any comments or experience, please post.
thank you

fitment, weave, weight was all excellent.

Summit sells carbon-fiber hoods for like $400. Don't know about fit and finish, but everything I get from summit is usually quality stuff
