Works like a champ.
IMO, peanut butter it, then clean it. Sand it, clean it again, and put on some thick clearcoat.
Then you won't have to clean it.

Use the 3M Marine Fiberglass Waxer/Restorer ! You can get it at Walmart. I bought a really oxidized Fiber Images hood locally for cheap, and I read a thread on H-T where people actually used the 3M Marine Fiber Glass Waxer/Restorer and they got awesome results. Search for it, it's worth it. I used that stuff and man... It really worked wonders. Best $8 i've ever spent... At Wal-mart it's in the boat care section.
