Certifit bumpers cont...
Well, finally made the voyage down to Tukwila, WA where Certfit is in Washington and picked up my bumpers. As some of you remember, some girl snagged my bumper while she was parking and I ended up getting 550 bucks from insurance. So, ended up spending 68 bucks including tax for a rear and front bumper, since my front is slightly cracked, might as well right?, it's only 30 bucks. So, it fit perfectly, but as you can tell in one pic, under my driver quarter panel, it's bends out a little. All I'll need to do is massase ig back in with some heat...here's some pics...
Oh, and I finally got my hands on a set oh HX wheels!! 225 with 90% original tires. Rims are MINT!!! I'm so stoked, this insurance money is going a LOOOONG way!

you wouldnt know how much the fenderes were would you... Anyone have the # and address for the one in San Diego? i lost the post and the website doesnt work...

the fenders are 27.75 up here, I'll go get the WA phgone # and I'm sure they can give you the one in SD

do you think a rep. body shop could massage the gap in the bumpers onto the car?
It differes from OE pretty much just by the manufacturer. It's the same materiel, just not the same molds. Feels exactly the same as my original. It also has the rough bottom edge that's not supposed to be painted. Their fenders are all stamped sheet metal. It's not AS perfect a fit as OE, but for the price, fitment is close, and with a little effort, can be made perfect. I'm pretty stoked on the result. I'm going to call them up tomorrow and see about the boo boo on the bumper. I'm not driving back through Seattle traffic for 30 bucks again...

Insurance money OWNZ!
lol I got $2300 for being hit in my driver's side door, and I took that money and paid the car off, got a new door, bought powerslot rotors, hawk pads, Apex N1, AEM CAI, and an V-AFC.

I don't know if they have them in Canada. The catch is that they do not ship. You have to personally go pick them up and there's only usually one in each state

too bad we dont have one those cerifit type places here in Canada
but damn your car looks great, and I aint kindin when I say I think you should leave your new bumpers the way they are, flat black and unpainted.
It goes really well with the red and those HX rims, complete sleeper look , I think a carbon fiber hood and trunk gate would complete that look.
Nice Ride and again just keep the bumpers unpainted, too me it looks fly

the fit isn't goin to be as great as oem. due to the fact its an aftermarket taiwanese manufactured body part. my dealings with their body parts =certi-crap.

That's exactly how my rear bumper fits. I can't seem to do anything to make it fit right. I have tried almost everything. If you find something, let me know.
