Re: Center Console Question?
just grab the center console from any 92-95 eg doesnt matter what model. if you use and auto console you wont have a shift boot. and your shifter would be utterly useless with the auto consol cause youd be able to use 3rd and 4th ha. unless you want to do something different and put a 94-01 DC integra dash and center console in your eg. youd need a custom harness. but there is diagrams, and a monkey could make one so its pretty easy. only downside.. no rear defrost. theres no built in relay in 94-01 harness so you could jsut hang the button behind the dash and reach for it. unless you wanted to wire in your own relay...

Re: Center Console Question?
You will only be able to use 3rd and 4th... straight forward and straight back.. go to a junk yard and find the right one

no it's not. The center console has a straight slot because on an auto it slides straight forward and straight back. You need the one with a square hole, in short, no it will not work. On a side note, I just replaced my center console with one with an armrest so I happen to have a center console delete for a 92-95. will fit your 4 dr or your coupe. PM me if you're interested.
I was actually just now logging on to h-t to see if anyone knew from experience wether or not I could slip a 94-01 gsr centerconsole in there and keep the eg dash.

Re: Center Console Question?
WTF are you guys thinking?! *ANY* '92 - '95 civic center console will work fine, other than the color all of them are identical That black center piece in the automatics is part of the shifter assembly, its not even attached to the console, the console just sits over the top of it. The shift boot is held in by 2 screws at one end, and the other end of the metal cage around the boot slides into the slots in the plastic console underneath. And for anyone whos wondering, yes I've used consoles from automatic civics in 5 speeds, numerous times.

I am not sure about that. doing more research now because i believe he is going to need one like this

otherwise I do not believe he will be able to shift into 1st, 2nd, 5th, or reverse.

Edit, here some pics
Automatic shifter assembly with center console removed
Automatic console in manual car
Note that there is no shift boot in the second pic, an EG boot fits fine, we just didn't have one the day we did the auto to manual swap.
