Cel question...throwing code 10 in my 00 civic si

Default Cel question...throwing code 10 in my 00 civic si

can someone give me a suggestion on what to do with this...im kinda unclear on what exactly thr problem is...i think it has something to do with the intake sensor...if im correct could someone help me on figuring out what to do next..thanks in advance...and yes i tried searching

Intake Air Temp Sensor. I have the same problem too.....a wise man told me (profiles all motor ek4) said to try "blowing" on the clip, cause i never seen that sensor go bad before.....he told me that, and it worked.....just a thought. if not, try to get someoen to pull it off their old motor's or get it from a junk yard....it's the sensor that's screwed in the "intake runner" near spark plugs 1 and 2.

Actually the IAT sensor on the 99-00 Civic Si is located in the intake tube, not the intake manifold (like it should be). Check your connections at the sensor, and make sure its still in the tube!!

thanks fellas...i blew into the clip and made sure everything was in all the way and the light is now gone...thanks

well.....it worked for about half a day and then it went on again...any suggestions?

Get a new one. Those sensors are really cheap from a junkyard.
