CEL light when going around 90+
Hi I have a civic ej8 with b18c swap, and chipped and tuned p28 ecu,it runs great and has no cel until I hit around 90 in 3rd on the track, and cel would pop up, and car has loss of power, then when I shut it down, then start it, the cel goes away, what can be the issue, it did this when I had the virgin p28, and still after I got the p28 chipped and tuned.. when the car is still running with it on, I checked the code, and it was the vtec pressure code.

you just answered your own question? so now you can go about a few ways of fixing the problem... wire up your vtec with the pressure sensor correctly and not loop it or get a new one if its not working... or have your tuner or who ever did your ecu disable the vtec pressure switch via computer/chip. its not the fact that your going 90 its just you hit vtec and computer is looking for the switch and when it doesnt find its working it goes into limp mode and no power and sometimes not even go into vtec. ///
