cel light..
my em1 keeps poping the cel light, when we ran tests the code that was found was for the o2 censor in the headers.. we changes the sensor and evreything seemed fine, but the light keeps popping up. usually pops up when car is running on lower rpms around 3k... when i drive it harder 4k and above it doesnt happen. any suggestions?? mayb its pos dc 4-1 headers?? there are no vacum leaks or exhast leaks..

Once you replace an O2 sensor, and then reset your ecu, your problem should be solved, but in your case that isnt working, which is odd. Id take a guess at a wiring problem somewhere. Are you sure you got the correct 02 sensor? was it new, used? What other mods do you have to the car?

That's a crock of ****, he just needed them to reset his ecu.
Go to your car right now, take off the negative battery terminal, count to 10, put it back on.
Tell us the results.

I have the EXACT problem when I did my header with SMSP 2.5" high flow cat. Is it code P1033 - Slow Response? If so, I heard this was from a faulty P2T ECU (OEM Si). I'm going OBD1 and Crome tuned shortly.. My friend who has a header installed has the same exact problems as I have as well. We both have/had BRAND NEW Denso Primary O2 sensors. Hell, I put an expensive OEM Honda Primary O2 sensor and the problem persists.

From what I've read on here there was some kind of dealership warranty or recall for it. </TD></TR></TABLE>
this sounds very familiar and i believe that it is a faulty ecu... i have the normal bolt ons and ctr cams i just bought but have not installed. i/h/e

Re: (ek forever guy)
not flashing its solid but it will come on very constantly.. i have been thinking before i even knew ( which was about 10 mins ago) that i most likely have a faulty ecu, about converting to obd1 then chipping w. crome. does any one have a price range for this process??
