CEL issues, light but cant get a code
I'm almost positive i found the jumper location to get the CEL to flash the problem code. After jumping it though the CEL just stays lit, no blinking or anything, then it goes out if i pull the jumper. Once i start the car up though the CEL is back. I have a 92 civic VX, just completed(almost) a mini-me. Put a p28 ecu into it and did the engine work. How can i get the code to read out? I dont want to drive the car yet, the head sounds like a tap dance show atm, needs to be adjusted i believe.

Re: CEL issues, light but cant get a code (KAMiN)
Need to do a valve adjustment and timing adjustment before i'm going to rev it, should happen next day or so. After that i'll check on the ECU and rpm limit, am praying it isnt the ecu

Re: CEL issues, light but cant get a code (splitime)
one time i had the same problem and it was becuase the harness for the ecu wasn't securely plugged in. that prob isn't the case here, but worth a shot
