CEL & Header Crack
-So I bought a '97 Hatch for a B16 setup I wanna do.
-It has CEL #41 which is "Primary Oxygen Sensor Heater"
-I buy a Denso O2 sensor and when I was going to put it on I seen this:
I seen someone with the exact same problem with the exact same CEL but I cant find the thread anymore. Should I put in the sensor and not worry about the header since this engine wont be in here for more than a few months?(3-6months tops).
The thing is I need that CEL gone because I need to register it since the tags expired a few days ago and now I need to smog it.

the crack looks pretty bad if air is getting into your manifold from the outside then the o2 sensor will tell the ecu to keep on dumping more fuel into the engine thus killing the new o2 and probably your cat

Your saying you didnt hear an exhaust leak with a huge crack in the mani like that? I dont know man, Im a tech for honda and also have a license for NYS Inspections and i would fail the crap out of that..California, from what i hear is more strict than NY when it comes to emissions so good luck. If i were you i would hit up the local junkyards..
