CEL due to not starting car?
I put a Z6 head an IM on my Y7 in my 96 DX. P28 ECU with Boomslang harness. I turned it on (no cranking, but just turning the ACC on to prime the fuel pump to check for leaks). Got CEL 22. I've spent the past 3 hours and 40 minutes rewiring it, regrounding it, trying to bypass it (it being the pressure switch) and the CEL is still there. D/C Neg battery terminal everytime.
I have been waiting to fire the car up until I get the CEL taken care of, but I just came up with the idea that since there is no oil in the VTEC solenoid right now, would that cause the CEL? Haven't even turned it over, and did a complete tear down and cleaning of the head before I put it on. I put 3.7 qts of oil in it.
Any ideas? Supposed to leave for VIR in about 8.5 hours.

Re: CEL due to not starting car? (Aquafina)
dude, like im a perfectionist to the maxx when it comes to wiring, and im gonna tell you, that that is the most worthless sensor that your ecu looks for, your car will run fine without it... its pointless, really, ive mini-me'd many cars andthey were all fast as hell, so start that bitch up!
