CEL and crankshaft sensor problem
You can guess from the title what the problems is.
I got the check engine light... next day, took it to shop with OBDII and guy said that the problem is the ($80-180) crankshaft sensor (think thats it, cant remember code though) and he says its down low near the bottom belt/pulley...so labor costs might be a bich? can anyone confirm/decline this. Im pretty sure thats the right code...it spit it twice @ his shop & autozone

Re: CEL and crankshaft sensor problem (i-CiViC)
Took a closer look after reading one of the topics on here about the CPK sensors and found that the alternator belt was rubbing on the sensor wires ....WTF>>
Just thought if someone was having same problem, they should check that first.
Peace!
