CEL comes on after few minutes of driving

CEL comes on after few minutes of driving
like the topic says.
I just did a transmmission swap and everything seems to be fine.
The CEL also goes away once you turn the car off and turn it back on and then it comes back on after a few minutes.
I am running open header and need to torque my header bolts down.\
Also the VSS isnt picking anything up. I have switched them out and wiggled the plug but I dont know whats wrong. I am going to try to ram it in as hard as I can later.
anyone have any opinions as to what the CEL could be? I will try to get the code tonight.

yeah
I figured out the problem....code 17 VSS.
it has happend before.....so All i have to do is fix it.
Hopefully I will get everything torque tommorow its late now.
