CEL codes 1, 9, and 22 -----> Possible effects?
My H22A EG (running a P28) is throwing the following CEL's...
1 ---> O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
9 ---> CYP - cylinder sensor
22 ---> VTEC pressure valve
...and I've been having the following problems...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1406343
Could those codes be what is wrong? PLEASE HELP!

Re: CEL codes 1, 9, and 22 -----> Possible effects? (JDM H23A)
why dont you fix these sensors/ make sure there connected. make sure all your connections are good from the sensor all the way back to your ecu.
plus are you running an h22 on a stock p28? If so i dont eve know if i want to help you.
and I thought you had an h23?
your problems there can also be vaccuum but fix the sensors and get a real computer for your h22.

The engine I have is the JDM H23A DOHC VTEC (blue top). I'm running a P28 ECU chipped with H22A maps and a VAFC II.
By the way, what the expletive is 9 ---> CYP - cylinder sensor all about? I don't even know what that is! Could that be why it's having trouble starting (it has trouble, but it always ends up starting...always).

what dizzy are you running and what harness.
the cyp is in the dizzy for 92-95 and on the oil pump for 96+ so i am guess you dont have it hooked up?
its a cylinder sensore or crank angle something like that.
does the h23a have a vtec pressure valve on the motor?
and hook up your o2 sensor.
is that better?
