CEL: code 9
Hey guys,
every few mornings when i start my car, my CEL comes on. Its throwing code 9,
CYP - cylinder sensor
Once my i turn my car off and back on, right there in my drive way, the CEL is gone, and a few days later it will come up again when i start my car
any ideas?

it could be a bad connection, have you checked all the connectors?
if it's not a connection problem, then yes you have to replace the sensor, and since you can't buy it seperate, the entire distributor needs to be replaced.
good news is you can sell off the parts to the distributor and make up a lot of what you spent on the new distributor.
